QUIET

     Give me a few minutes of quiet, God. Enable me to stop my business and talk, and just be still for a while.
     I seek quiet, not so I can rest, but so I may know your presence. Let the noise cease, not just the audible noise, but the noise in my head as well.
     Unplug me from the many things I use to occupy my mind, and plug me into you. Open my ears to pick up the whisper of your word, spoken in my soul.
     "I have calmed and quieted my soul like a weaned child with its mother; my soul is like the weaned child that is with me." Psalm 131:2
